Second day of the Training for social dialogue with trade unions- with the main aim to increase trade unions capacities to participate actively in the process of social dialogue at the sectoral and national levels.
As part of the training process it was developed a shared understanding of what Social Dialogue is, what benefits it can bring to practical trade union work and what challenges it presents. Secondly, the training offered space for trade union members/representatives to share the experiences they already have. Thirdly, building on such experiences, it provided an opportunity for developing strategies for strengthening Social Dialogue in the different national contexts. One of the training modules was gender mainstreaming - a crucial and transversal topic in all social dialogue processes.
The training was organized within the project “Promoting and reinforcing the social dialogue”, financed by Olof Palme International Center and supported by Swedish Government.
